Bees:Low toxicity to bees.Fish:Mortality of four fish species was 90% at 0.6-0.9 mg/l (96 h). Environmental fate: Soil:As with other phenylurea herbicides, degradation involves dealkylation of the terminal nitrogen atom, ring hydroxylation, degradation to dichlorohydroxyaniline, presumably followed by ring opening. Duration of residual activity in soil is c. 3-4.
