Environmental Profile
Ecotoxicology:
Algae: ErC50 (96 h) for Anabaena flos-aquae 33 mg/l.Bees: LD50 (oral and contact, 48 h) >200 ×g/bee.Birds:Acute oral LD50 for bobwhite quail >2000 mg/kg. Dietary LC50 (8 d) for bobwhite quail >5000 mg/kg.Daphnia: LC50 (48 h) 18.1 mg/l.Fish: LC50 (96 h) for rainbow trout 13-18, bluegill sunfish 24-36 mg/l.Worms: LC50 (14 d) for earthworms >1000 mg/kg soil.Other beneficial spp.:'Aura' + 'Dash HC' harmless to slightly harmful for Aphidius rhopalosiphi, Aleochara bilineata, Chrysopa carnea (lab.).

Environmental fate:
Animals:Slowly and incompletely absorbed orally in rats; excretion is rapid and mainly via the urine; no accumulation was observed in any tissue or organ. A large number of metabolites is detected, formed by three main pathways: oxidation of the thioether to the Soil:Rapidly degraded in soil; DT50 3-13 d; shorter under the influence of sunlight and in rice cultivation conditions. Mineralisation of all three rings of the molecule is up to 52%. In aerobic and anaerobic water/sediment systems, Plant:Rapid and intensive metabolism by oxidation, ether cleavage and desalkoxylation of the side chain. WATER SOLUBILITY: 0.53 mg/100g at 20°C HAZARDS: NOEC. Fish: 12.8 mg/l (96 h) (rainbow trout); 10.9 mg/l (48 h) (Daphnia). Bird: LD50 >2000 mg/kg (quail)
