Molecular weight:102.1; Physical form:Colourless, odourless gas. Density:1.36 (20 °C); Melting point:-136.7 °C; Boiling point -67°F. Vapor pressure 9150 mm/Hg at 50°F (10°C).Vapour pressure:1.7 × 103 kPa (21.1 °C); Solubility:In water 750 mg/kg (25 °C, 1 atmosphere). In ethanol 0.24-0.27, toluene 2.1-2.2, carbon tetrachloride 1.36-1.38 (all in l/l).; Stability:Stable to light. Stable up to c. 500 °C when dry. Rapidly hydrolysed by aqueous alkali, but not by water.;

Oral:Acute oral LD₅₀ for rats 100 mg/kg. Percutaneous:Not a skin or eye irritant. Inhalation: LC₅₀ for rats 4.1 mg/l. Phytotoxicity:Phytotoxic, but with little effect on the germination of weed and crop seeds.

WATER SOLUBILITY: 750 ppm at 77°F (25°C) and 1 atmosphere
