Activity
Herbicide.
Anilofos can be applied pre- and post-emergence; it is absorbed by roots and to a lesser extent by shoots and leaves. The product is translocated to the meristem where it affects cell growth and division. This results in discoloration, stunted growth and death within seven days. The optimum time for application is four to ten days after transplantation. The company recommends that the water depth in the paddy is maintained at 1-6 cm for 21 days after treatment.

Anilofos can be applied up to the 2.5 leaf stage of barnyard grass and provides 40-50 days residual activity.
