ActivityFenoxycarb is an insect growth regulator active by contact and ingestion. It also has some ovicidal activity. The product controls larval stages (in particular last instars) of Lepidoptera and certain hemipteran species. The company recommends one or two applications per season depending on pest pressure. Fenoxycarb should not be used during blooming periods.

Animals:In rats, the major metabolic path is ring hydroxylation to form ethyl [2-[p-(p-hydroxyphenoxy)phenoxy]ethyl]carbamate.Soil:Low mobility in soil, no bioaccumulation.
