Toxicology
Oral:Acute oral LD50 for rats >4000 mg/ kg. Percutaneous:Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits >4000 mg/kg. Slightly irritating to eyes (rabbits). Irritating to skin and mucous membranes. Not a skin sensitiser (guinea pigs). Inhalation: LC50 (4 h) for rats 0.4 mg/l. Phytotoxicity:Non-phytotoxic, but may cause russetting in Golden Delicious apples. ADI:( JMPR) 0.02 mg/ kg b.w. [1986].
