Inscripta joins EuropaBio: delivering global biotechnology advances

EuropaBio, the European Association for Bioindustries, promotes an innovative and dynamic European biotechnology industry. EuropaBio and its members are committed to the socially responsible use of biotechnology to improve quality of life, to prevent, diagnose, treat and cure diseases, to improve the quality and quantity of food and feedstuffs and to move towards a biobased and zero-waste economy.

EuropaBio has a board of management made up of representatives of member companies. The board is supported by the EuropaBio team who carry out day to day activities and is managed by a Secretary General.

The three main segments of Biotechnology are represented through sectoral councils: Healthcare (Red Biotech), Industrial (White Biotech) and Agri-Food (Green Biotech).

Through National Associations Council (NAC) and horizontal SME Platform, EuropaBio represents 1800+ SMEs at a Member State Level. Experts from member companies actively participate in working groups and taskforces which cover a wide range of issues and concerns particular to their industry. Each council, working group or taskforce is chaired by a member and is coordinated by a EuropaBio staff member.

EuropaBio is a founding member of the International Council of Biotech Associations (ICBA).
