Vegenov is an applied research center specialized in plant science that offers a full range of confidential R&D services for biocontrol and biostimulant manufacturers, plant breeders, seed companies, growers and distributors. Its main fields of expertise are plant breeding support (haplomethods, MAS…), evaluation and caracterisation of biocontrol and biostimulant (efficacy and mode of action) in controlled conditions and quality of plant production (nutritional and sensorial analysis). Vegenov also has tools for analyzing pathogenic or plant-beneficial microorganisms in different matrices (water, air, soil, plant, etc.).

Vegenov works on more than fifty plant species (cereals, oilseeds, protein crops, fruits, vegetables, horticultural plants, aromatic and medicinal herbs) and associated microorganisms of all types (fungi, bacteria, virus). Vegenov has cutting-edge equipment : regulated and compartimented plant growing spaces (700 m2 greenhouses and 200m2 of growth chambers), equipments for cell biology (analytical cytometer and sorter, laminar flow hoods, etc.), molecular biology (high throughput robots qPCR and PCR, Tapestation, Nanopore Sequencer, etc.) and biochemistry (GC-MS, HPLC etc.).
