Established by combining the savings of doctors, pharmacists, chemists and engineers for manufacturing and marketing of medical drugs in 1956, in Adana. HEKTAŞ directed to manufacturing and marketing of agricultural chemicals, which is its essential field of activity, in 1962 and established its first production plant in Istanbul.

The company''''s marketing and sales team operates in local market within seven regions in the province, as well as 5 regions representatives that carry out on the basis of veterinary medicine sales organization with a great distribution network of about 1,500 point of sale and dealers. Hektaş has also export operation in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Countries, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, C.I.S. countries and the Balkan Countries.
