For more than 60 years, The Andersons, Inc. has been a mainstay in northwest Ohio and a leader in the agricultural sector throughout the Eastern Corn Belt. Harold and Margaret Anderson first began serving the local farming community in 1947 with truck and grain terminals, as well as rail transfer capability for ship loading on the Maumee River.  During its rich history, The Andersons has always been recognized as an innovator, beginning with opening the first U.S. deep-water grain loading facility in the Great Lakes and installing the largest steel tank grain storage facility in North America. What began as a single grain elevator and one man’s dream has grown into a publicly traded company with diverse interests that include agribusinesses such as grain and plant nutrients as well as railcar leasing and repair, industrial products formulation, turf products, retailing and most recently, ethanol operations.  Today, throughout all of The Andersons’ business endeavors, the company and its nearly 3,000 employees are committed to providing extraordinary service with the utmost integrity.  About The Andersons Humate Products The Andersons Humate Products – Humic DG, Black Gypsum DG, UltraMate SG, UltraMate LQ and K-Mate SG – represent the next generation of soil health. These humic acid-based soil amendments are designed to reduce the effect of the environmental stresses of water, temperature and soil conditions on crops. With two technology platforms and two humic acid delivery methods, these products work in a program approach to provide plants access to humic substances throughout the growing season.  For more information on our full line of humic acid-based soil amendments, visit our Products page.  The Andersons is a proud member of the Humic Products Trade Association (HPTA).  Our Humic DG, Black Gypsum DG and K-Mate SG Products are Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listed.  Our Humic DG and Black Gyspum DG products are certified as an Organic Input Material (OIM) in the state of California.
