Kafr El Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals was founded in 1957 with a view to the synthesis and processing of certain pesticides. The company started its activities on an area of 110,000 meter and is the first company in Egypt specialized in the production of many agricultural pesticides and public health products.

Since 1960 the company has been developing and promoting the formulation industry to provides both agricultural & hygienic sectors in Egypt covering the modern and up to date types of applications such as : EC, WP, G, D, OILS, PAITS, ULV & SPRAY.

The company produces several types of formulations according to mutual agreements and under license of major international companies: SUMITOMO (JAPAN), ZENICA (UK), AGRIVO (FRANCE), ROHM & HASS (ITALY), ROTAM (HONG. KONG), UNITED.P (INDIA & UK), FIKOM (INDIA), DREXEL (U.S.A.)
