Fertira is a proper family business. Jacques Ranschaert and his wife Anne-Mieke Vinckier started producing and distributing organic fertilisers, mainly for professional organic farms, in 1992.

 

The company was taken over at the end of 2011 and it expanded into a total partner for professional organic farms and for the private label industry. The takeover in 2011 resulted in a serious increase in sales and it became impossible to produce fertilisers at two different locations. Fertira decided to invest in a completely new production facility at a new location in Tielt, West Flanders in 2016. 

 

With the new production site and the second generation in management, the company's future is assured.
