Promo-Vert acquires the field testing activity of Phyteurop

PHYTEUROP was created in 1986, following the merger between an Italian industrial partner and the Distribution represented by SOFAGRI (financial holding « gathering » the cooperatives) working very closely together.  Therefore, the farmers are being actively represented within PHYTEUROP, a unique situation in the agrochemical world.  In 1997, the Group reinforced its presence in the French market with the acquisition of TRADI-AGRI. From 2002, the Group acquired MEDOL S.A. (Switzerland) and in 2003 acquired a minority share in PLANTAN GmbH in Germany.  The Technical Department of PHYTEUROP is ensuring, through its fields trials and development centers, the main missions of field testing : research, registration (GEP) and technical support for sales. PHYTEUROP is also including a Registration Department, involved in all aspects of the defense of active ingredients and agrochemical products, in France and in Europe. Therefore, each new speciality launched by PHYTEUROP is systematically benefiting from the field testing and registration activities of the Research and Development Department.
