Colusa County Farm Supply was established in 1973 to provide fertilizer to meet local grower needs. Grower interest and demand lead it to add crop protection and chemical products.  In 1990, it became a partner of the Tremont Group, which strengthened its competitive position in its service area.  In 1992 it formed a C-Corp of grower-owners so it could expand its services and flexibility to meet grower needs and became the fully integrated agribusiness it is today. The company also became a proud owner of IAP, a move that enabled it to compete in price and products with even the largest of competitors in its industry. As of 2015, Colusa County Farm Supply was added to the Aligned Ag Distributors association. This further allows it to be among the most influential and reputable retailers of agribusiness in the nation.
