China National Seed Group Co.,Ltd. (CHINA SEED) is China’s first seed enterprise which was established in 1978 under the approval of the State Council on the basis of former Seed Bureau of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. After over 30 years’ development, we have become a giant seed industry group with a complete industrial chain of scientific research, production, processing, marketing and technical service. We are the leading enterprise in industrialization of agriculture jointly certified by 8 Ministries of China. We became a full member of Asia & Pacific Seed Association (APSA) in 1994, and we are the director-general of China National Seed Trade Association. In 2007, under the approval of the Sate Council, we were incorporated into China Sinochem Group Co.,Ltd. (Sinochem) and became its wholly-owned subsidiary. In 2011, we were successively accredited AAAc credit rating by Dagong Global Credit Rating and AAA credit rating by China National Seed Association. In 2012, we were approved by Ministry of Agriculture as one of the first seed enterprises which integrate breeding, production and promotion. In 2013, we were award as the Credit Star Enterprise of Chinese Seed Industry by China Seed Association, and have a registered capital of 94.4 million yuan, ranking first in China’s seed enterprises.

As the only state-owned key enterprise in China whose primary business integrates breeding, production and promotion of crops seed, we cover our business in such main crops as rice, corn, wheat, vegetables and oil-bearing crops. Dedicated to continuously improving the core competitiveness of our whole industrial chain, we are building a national seed enterprise which is “the best in China and one of the best in the world”.
