Tall Pines Agricultural Research main office and home farm is nestled in the quaint community of Rockwood, Ontario. It has an auxiliary location in Branchton, Ontario ~40 km south of Rockwood. Thus it is able to carry out trials in Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)/Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) agricultural zone 5. Tall Pines is open and ready for business January 1st, 2018. It will be accepting a diversity of efficacy trials in its first year while working to become Standards Council Canada (SCC) compliant. This SCC certification will allow it to perform GLP studies.   At its facilities, Tall Pines is able to grow a number of field and vegetable crops. Furthermore, through its cooperator network, it has access to a wide range of specialty crops grown in Ontario. It has the capability to perform both small plot and large scale research trials. Tall Pines is equipped with seed drills, planters, harvesting machinery, orchard airblast sprayers and other equipment necessary to simulate commercial agricultural practice in a trial setting. It is equipped to handle your foliar and broadcast fertilizer research needs for comparison on small plots.
