Toxicology

Oral:Acute oral LD₅₀ for male rats 1250, female rats 2500, male mice 2500, female mice 3000, beagle dogs 500 mg/ kg. Percutaneous:Acute percutaneous LD₅₀ for rabbits >2000 mg/kg. No skin irritation; slight eye irritant (rabbits). Not a skin sensitiser (guinea pigs). Inhalation:Rats essentially unaffected after 1 h by 0.37 mg tech./l air.
