In dimethylformamide 1206, acetone, methanol 223, ethanol 173, isopropanol 113, diethyl ether 70, chloroform 0.9, benzene 0.2 (all in g/kg, room temperature). Insoluble in carbon tetrachloride.; Stability:Thermally stable up to the boiling point. Stable to oxidising agents, acids and alkalis. Decomposed by sodium hypochlorite solutions. Sensitive to light.

Toxicology

Oral:Acute oral LD₅₀ for rats >5000 mg/kg. Percutaneous:Acute percutaneous LD₅₀ for rats >3160 mg/kg. Mild skin and eye irritant (rabbits).
