ActivityThis product is for use in bodies of water that serve as mosquito habitats, such as storm water and drainage systems, marine and coastal areas, freshwater bodies, and water collected in discarded tyres.
Application of this product is through air or ground spraying. The product remains active for up to four weeks after spraying, depending on mosquito species, environmental conditions and water quality.
VectoLex should be applied during the first through to the fourth larval instar. In susceptible mosquito species, symptoms may appear within an hour of ingestion. Toxins are released in the larval mid-gut, paralysing the digestive system. The larvae undergo tremors, become sluggish and die within 48 hours. -
