Phlebiopsis gigantea

Activity
Phlebiopsis gigantea controls root and butt rot on tree stumps. It is applied as an aqueous suspension either at tree-felling (when it can be applied by the harvester) or by hand immediately after felling. Kemira says that it is more effective than liquid urea because it spreads further, allowing the biofungicide to compete fully with the rot fungus for living space.

In storage, the product remains active for 1-2 weeks at room temperature and for approximately 12 months below 8°C.
