Animals:In rats, 14C-methabenzthiazuron is rapidly metabolised and the radioactivity excreted in the urine, 97% of the dose being recovered within 48 hours. It is metabolised by a combination of side-chain hydrolysis and ring hydroxylation followed by Soil:In soil, methabenzthiazuron is strongly adsorbed.
