Activity
Coniothyrium minitans is antagonistic towards sclerotia of Sclerotinia species. The product can be incorporated into the soil 2-3 months prior to planting. When crops are heavily infested, C minitans can be applied before ploughing in harvest residues. The product will then reduce sclerotia in the area before further crops are planted. Higher application rates are recommended for use on densely planted crops.

C minitans is susceptible to degradation by chemicals.
