ETG Inputs HoldCo announces agreement to acquire select African businesses from Zaad Holdings

ETG: Founded in Kenya in 1967, ETG has emerged as one of Africas largest Agricultural Conglomerates. ETG’s footprint expands across sub-Saharan Africa, North America, Europe, the Middle East and South East Asian countries.

Fertilizers are currently ETG’s single largest product line, accounting for a significant percentage of its trading volumes and revenue. Fertilizer flows inwards to Africa’s farmers along the same ETG supply chain that transports their commodities outwards.

ETG Agro Seeds focuses on educating farmers on the numerous benefits of planting improved, high performance seed adapted to local farming conditions. ETG Agro Seeds also aims at strengthening the capacity of research, extension, hands-on technical assistance, the development, dissemination, and adoption of improved seed and planting materials. These are critical for preparing smallholder farmers to meet changing climate regimes.

ETG Agrochemical Division procures environmentally friendly and effective agrochemicals to the highest quality. All the products are manufactured in accordance with FAO standards. Its wide range of products include: herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, foliar fertilizer and plant growth regulators.
