Cibeles SA was funded in 1975 as the exclusive representative and distributor of veterinary and agrochemical products of MERCK SHARP & DOHME (MSD) U.S. As from 1978, Cibeles SA also imports and distributes exclusively Sandoz pesticides and veterinary (Switzerland).
Cibeles has 14,000m2 of industrial facilities in 34 hectares of land, with two artificial dams and a water treatment plant, ensuring the availability of own deionized and demineralized water for the elaboration of both veterinary and plant protection products. It serves the domestic market and exports products to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Panama.
Its industrial plant meets all of the environmental requirements approved by national authorities (IMC, DINAMA, MSP, and MGAP). It has a rigorous control implemented, a liquid effluent treatment and it has an integrated management plan of their solid waste.
