Logistics is main challenge for bioinputs in Brazil, according to Promip

PROMIP was founded in 2006 with the mission of making innovative solutions for Integrated Pest Management available to farmers. The company was recognized worldwide as the first Brazilian Biofactory of Biological Products containing Predatory Mites for pest control. It is a technology-based company that brings together in its portfolio biological products and specialized services for the implementation of Integrated Pest Management Programs.  The company consolidated in the Municipality of Engenheiro Coelho, 20 km from Limeira, where it installed its Biofábrica and Experimental Station, integrating a new nucleus of production and research formed by modern laboratories, greenhouses and field. Currently, in addition to the manufacture of biological products containing predatory mites, with a seal guaranteed by the Ministry of Agriculture, the company operates developing studies on Agronomic Efficacy and Practices in the Field, Vegetation and Labeling Houses, Field Agrochemical Waste Studies.
