Muntajat, (Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company) Q.J.S.C. is the gateway to Qatar’s exports of over 11 million metric tons of chemical and petrochemical products. Established in 2012, the company is driving the growth of the State of Qatar’s downstream industry and increasing its footprint on the global scene.
The company represents, serves and promotes the State’s chemical, polymer and fertiliser industries and works to maximise value for its stakeholders by capturing new opportunities in sales and supply chain, capitalising on Qatar’s unique competitive advantages and economies of scale.
Muntajat has the sole rights to market, sell and distribute 100% of Qatar’s regulated downstream products to customers globally. Currently Muntajat services customers in more than 120 countries, and is expanding the reach of the “Made in Qatar” brand into new markets. Muntajat’s diversified portfolio includes a rich mix of high quality chemicals, polymers and fertilisers produced by Qatar’s leading producing companies; including the High-density polyethylene (HDPE), Medium density polyethylene (MDPE), 1-Hexene and Normal Alpha Olefins (NAO) produced by Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem) and Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II). Muntajat started taking orders for Q-Chem and Q-Chem II’s products as of December 2014.
