INDEAR is the research and development company of Bioceres. A venture between Bioceres and the Argentine National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), INDEAR has the most advanced agro-biotech research platforms in Latin America, including the first high performance DNA sequencing platform available in Argentina.  INDEAR labs host highly qualified scientific groups in the areas of genomics and bioinformatics, molecular biology, synthetic biology and protein research. R&D areas at INDEAR are consolidated with a plant transformation and tissue culture facility and with a multidisciplinary group engaged in the development of field technologies. Furthermore, INDEAR has a prestigious team devoted to regulatory affairs, working on its different projects.  INDEAR devotes its research efforts in technologies designed to increase crop yield, including drought and salinity tolerance, pest and herbicide resistance, efficient use of nutrients, and crop health.
