Acaricide/Miticide
Halfenprox controls all motile forms of mites. It also inhibits egg hatch. The product acts by contact and ingestion. It has good knockdown activity, combined with residual activity lasting for up to six weeks.
In field trials, no russeting was noted on any of the apple cultivars tested.

Oral:Acute oral LD50 for male rats 132, female rats 159, male mice 146, female mice 121 mg/ kg. Percutaneous:Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >2000 mg/ kg. Inhalation: LC50 (4 h) for male rats 1.38, female rats 0.36 mg/l. Phytotoxicity:No phytotoxicity has been observed at field use rates. ADI:6 mg/d (as carbon disulfide).
