Activity

Fungicide

Triflumizole is a locally systemic fungicide with protectant and eradicant activity. The fungicide prevents sporidia from multiplying. In cereals, it is applied as a seed treatment.

Tests conducted by Nippon Soda using EC and WP triflumizole formulations to treat rice seed, have shown that the EC formulation produces greater control of Gibberella fujikuroi. This is thought to be due to the EC formulation permeating the seed coat more effectively than the WP formulation.

Toxicology
